Sheri A. Marshall sworn in as the President of the National Council of Negro Women Austin Section
NCNW Austin Section proudly congratulates Mrs. Sheri Marshall in her new position as President-Elect! Prior to being sworn in as President, Sheri has recently served as the 1st VP , the 2nd VP, and has chaired many committees and projects for the Austin Section.
Sheri Marshall is serving her last term as President of The National Association of Black Accountants Austin Centex Chapter. Sheri is the business owner of Umoveit-WeCleanit Enterprise as Commercial Janitorial Company and Best Choice Mobile Notary, specializing in mortgage loan closings and general notaries. Sheri Marshall recently received the 2016 Small Business Award from the Greater Black Austin Chamber of Commerce and was recently recognized in the Inaugural Edition of the Achievements in Black Austin.
Sheri received her Bachelors Degree from Austin Peay State University, Accounting Degree from University of Alaska-Anchorage and her Master’s Degree from St. Edwards University- Austin.
Sheri is happy to step into the Interim President role and is very excited as to the direction she will take this chapter. In celebration of it’s 80th anniversary, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) revealed a “new agenda for a new age,” vowing to take urgent action around education, health, economic empowerment and public policy in an effort to build a stronger Black America.
